Limping through Fall 24

Hurricane Helene did a number on Western North Carolina. Most of the trails I frequent are impassable, some completely destroyed. 200 miles of the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway are closed as well. Sadly, this road is the only artery deep into the woods for tens of thousands outdoor enthusiasts. Despite the obstacles, I have been able to get out to some spots and harvest the prized Lions Mane and Maitake. Here are a few pictures.
